1. In Mupen64Plus FZ, set Game Data Storage Location to External.
2. Open Mupen64Plus FZ in Kumo.
3. Select the same folder for saves, usually /GameData.

What Kumo usually finds automatically

Kumo can look for the app package and its data folder, but the most important part is that the emulator itself is configured to use external game data.

Pitfalls and limitations

• If Mupen64Plus FZ is not using external storage for game data, Kumo will not line up with the save location you expect.
• BIOS sync is not used for this emulator in Kumo.
• Single-folder mode is not used here.
