PPSSPP

PPSSPP can work well in Kumo, but it usually needs a bit more manual setup than emulators that stay inside Android's standard app storage.

What Kumo supports

  • Saves
  • Save states
  • ROMs

How to configure it

  1. Open PPSSPP in Kumo.
  2. Select the PPSSPP data folder you use inside the emulator.
  3. Confirm that the SAVEDATA and PPSSPP_STATE folders resolve correctly.

What Kumo usually finds automatically

PPSSPP is treated as a root-selection emulator. In practice, that means you should expect to choose the PPSSPP data folder yourself.

Pitfalls and limitations

  • If Kumo points at the wrong PPSSPP root, saves and states may appear empty even though PPSSPP itself works.
  • BIOS sync is not used for PPSSPP in Kumo.

Supported file extensions

bin, dat, sfo, png, jpg, ppst
