Current Status

Kumo has an early Python-based Linux client implementation.

What We Validated (KNULLI)

• Kumo can run as a Python Linux client rewrite in an early prototype stage.
• Installation currently works via a sideloaded portable bundle (copied and installed over SSH/SCP into /userdata).
• CLI sync was tested on KNULLI OS and works in a very early stage.
• EmulationStation Tools integration now exposes simple controls: Login, Logout, Start, Stop, Status, and Transfers.

Known Limitations

• The Linux client still needs significant refinement.
• Setup is currently technical and manual.
• Login still requires SSH/CLI input (/userdata/system/kumo/bin/kumo-sync --login).
• Save states most likely will not work reliably across different devices.
• This is not production-ready yet.
